YOU HAVE THE LIFE OF GOD IN YOU


Your understanding of the word of God enables you to live a better life. What I mean is a life without sickness, death or poverty. Actually, when you are born again (receiving Christ to be your lord and savior), there is a kind of life that you receive from God. 1st John 5 vs 11 (KJV) says “And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.” When you read this verse, you will see that God has already done it this is not something that will happen in the future. It's not like we are going to have this life later or in the future but that we have it already. For every Christian who is born again we have this life already.  

If you accept this truth and begin to proclaim that you have the life of God, immediately you will live the way God wants you to live. There is a big problem with Christianity today, some Christians do not understand what it means to be born again and some cannot even explain what it means well. 


Now let me give you an understanding of what it means to be born again or the reason why one gets born again. The reason is this, God almighty wants you to have His life so that you may become a people from heaven not of this world. I want you to understand clearly, the bible says the 1st man of the earth was made of dust (1st Corinthians 15 vs 47 KJV) the bible here is talking about Adam and God gave him the name Adam which means red dust. Also, the bible says the 2nd man who is Jesus Christ comes from heaven (1st Corinthians 15 vs 47 KJV). Through this scripture, one can understand that there are two kinds of life here, a human life which exists in this world and the other is the life of God almighty which exists after receiving Jesus Christ.

 

When you are born again or have received Jesus Christ, your human life ceases, that is God has taken away that human life and he gives you a new life, the life of the 2nd man. The 2nd man's life is God's very own life which is Christ living in you. The reason why God takes away human life is because the life of the 1st man (Adam) has a lot of problems, especially sin. In the 1st man's life or Adams's life, is also where you find sickness, poverty, and death.  


Romans 5:17 NIV “For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man.” 

Where there is death there is also sickness and poverty. Also, where death is, there is separation between the spirit and body or separation from God almighty (mind you the meaning of death is separation). This is the pure work of satan because of the 1st man's (Adam) disobedience. God doesn’t want you to have this kind of life, he wants you to have Christ’s life which is God's life. 


Look at what the bible says in 1st John 5 vs 11 NIV “Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.”

From this scripture, you can understand that those who have Christ, have the pure life of God almighty which means they have a heavenly life and have been separated from the human life which is the life of Adam. As a Christian, you have to understand that when you have received Christ, you have received a heavenly life or God's life.  


The difference between a Christian and a non-Christian is; 

  1. 1. A Christian is someone who has God's life because Christ lives in them therefore, they have eternal life, it is not a religion. If Christ does not live in you, you do not have eternal life.  

  1. 2. Non-Christians are those who are not born again and they do not have eternal life. 


Take note, God almighty wants you to know that you have eternal life through Jesus Christ. 

The Bible says in 1st John 5 vs 13 NIV “I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.” 


The word eternal in Greek means 'aionios' which translates to everlasting or long-lasting and the word life in Greek is 'Zoe', but this is not just any kind of life but a God-kind of life. Therefore, eternal life is everlasting life or a long-lasting life and this life is the life of God. This is the very life you receive the very moment you receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior.

My heavenly Father, I thank you I now understand that I have the life of God in me. A human life is not my life anymore, I have a life from above. I acknowledge that eternal life is my life and it's a life that cannot be attacked by sickness, poverty, or death. By this confession, I know who I am and I can see the greatness in me. I don’t have any fear anymore. I am winning every day. A supernatural life is my life daily. Because of eternal life whatever I plan or touch will prosper. Thank you so much, my heavenly Father. I believe my life has changed completely. I am prosperous always and I am living a victorious life. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ the son of the living God, I believe this confession prayer has changed my life. Amen!
