WHY CHRISTIANS GET SICKNESS

There are several reasons why Christians get sickness. It is very important for Christians to understand what I am about to teach in this blog, so that from today you will never be attacked by any sickness. The big problem is most Christians do not understand who a Christian is. They may go to church, be born again or even read the bible but they don’t have this understanding. Let me say this, a Christian should have pure knowledge of what it means to be a Christian. This knowledge is called Epignosis in Greek (it means pure knowledge).  

As a Christian, you should understand who a Christian is. If you can understand who a Christian is, immediately that will be the end of sickness. Also, if you understand how to use your mouth, it will help you to live free and to overcome sickness. 

Who is a Christian? 

A Christian is not someone who goes to church every Sunday or who is a follower of Jesus Christ. Maybe because your parents used to go to church and you were born into such a family and do the same and now you call yourself a Christian, but that’s not what a Christian is. A Christian is someone who has eternal life, eternal life is the life of God, an endless life. 

Now let's go to the scripture, 1st John 5 vs 11-13 NIV “And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life”  

According to this scripture, you can't be a Christian unless you have received Christ to be your lord and savior. Romans 10:9 NIV If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Now let me tell you about eternal life, this is the life you get after receiving Jesus Christ. As a Christian, it is important for you to know that you have this life. The purpose of you receiving Christ is to receive the pure life of God Almighty. The bible says he who has the Son has the life of God, this is only for those who have received Jesus Christ.  

The life of God is not contaminated with any sickness and once we talk about the life of God we are talking about the life of Jesus Christ. Take note there is no difference between Jesus Christ and God. Jesus Christ himself declared “I and the Father are one.” - John 10:30. From the birth and ministry of Jesus Christ there is no evidence that Jesus Christ was living with any sickness. This means as a Christian you should understand that receiving Christ is receiving God's life and for that reason, you have already overcome sickness.  

Look at John 5:11 NIV “Whoever has the Son has life.” This word life is what we call Zoe in Greek, which means God kind of life. As a Christian, you should have the pure knowledge that you have God's kind of life in you the moment after receiving Christ. You don’t have the biological life you received from your parents, human life ceases after being born again. Once again you have God kind of life in you.  

John 5 vs 13 NIV I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. You see here that God wants you to know that you have that life, you who believes and is born again. If you don't know this, no matter how you pray, fast or read the bible, you will still get sickness. Look at vs 13 again “I write these things to you who..…so that you may know that you have eternal life.” Sickness that affects blood should not affect you or any other sickness. Why? Because you have a different kind of life, you have been born again which means your life doesn’t depend on blood to live, you live dependent on Gods life.  

How can confession help you?  

Any moment you feel that something is against your body, for example those Christians who have been attacked by malaria, there are kinds of symptoms before disease. Don’t confess that I feel this. The moment you confess the symptoms it means you agree/acknowledge that thing to be yours. In Greek it is called Homologue, which means to confess or declare. This is what the devil will use to attack you with sickness, that is he will tempt you with symptoms so that you confess/declare that the sickness belongs to you or you have it already. 

As a Christian never ever confess that I have this sickness or I have this symptom. Instead confess you have the life of God in you. Even if you have a medical report, don’t mind it, don’t confess what is on the medical report but confess you have the life of God in you so that the sickness leaves. Jesus Christ took your infirmity and diseases, Matthew 8 vs 17 “He himself took our sickness and carried away our diseases.” Healing was already purchased on the cross of Calvary by Jesus Christ so that you should never get any sickness, in fact you are healed already. 

As a Christian you should have this understanding.

CONFESSION PRAYER  

My heavenly Father, I thank you for your understanding and pure knowledge. Now I know that Christianity is not religion, or not about somebody who was born in a family that goes to church every day. I understand a Christian is someone who has eternal life. I declare that I have eternal life in me, which is the life of God Himself. God kind of life is working in me. No sickness or infirmity can have power in my body, the life of God is everywhere in my blood system and bone, that life is inside and outside of my body. I will never be attacked by any sickness from today and the rest of my life. My heavenly father I thank you I am free from sickness and infirmity for the rest of my life. In the name of the lord Jesus Christ the son of the living God. Amen! 

Matthew 8 vs 17- Jesus Christ himself took MY sickness and carried away MY diseases.

INSTRUCTION: Confess this everyday of your life. By this confession in the name of the lord Jesus Christ the son of the living God, you are healed, you are free. Amen.
